Lawerence, Kansas The performances were nothing less than miraculous. We have all made new friends and connections. I especially loved bearing witness to everyone blossoming, becoming stronger through acting and connecting with birth. Most of us are mothers and some of our children also attended practices. Quite the challenge! But we made it work. The BOLD Talkback went well. The audience members were very interactive and engaging, raising questions about how to continue the dialogue about birth and meet on common ground. We talked about starting with our children, telling them positive birth stories. BOLD Lawrence, Kansas' event benefitted Lawrence chapter of Citizens for Midwifery
