Hundreds of locations around the world have become part of the BOLD movement through performing Karen Brody’s play Birth. Want to be BOLD with us?
Here are your options for hosting a performance of Birth:
- Apply to host a performance in your community.
- Apply to host an educational performance on a college campus.
New! Perform the play Birth… On Labor Day.
Communities all around the world are hitting the streets on the American Labor Day as part of Improving Birth’s Second Rally to Improve Birth. If you are planning a rally you may perform the play Birth for FREE any day that weekend Friday, August 30- Monday, September 2, 2013.
When you register we’ll ask you to agree to our licensing agreement, then you’ll receive your BOLD Performance Package and you’re off!

Outside of Labor Day weekend communities performing the play are allowed to perform the play up to 6 times for one year from the date you purchase the BOLD Performance Package for a $250 fee. Professors or student groups performing the play are allowed to perform the play an unlimited number of times in perpetuity and will receive a DVD of BOLD’s 5th anniversary performance of the play that can also be shown to students at any time for a $500 fee.
